My journey reflects initiative and hands-on experience. After leaving my economics studies at the University of Wuppertal, I joined GIS Wirtschaftsdaten GmbH (now Smartbroker Holding AG) in Düsseldorf. I mastered financial analysis, geopolitical insights, and more through self-directed learning and real-world application in fast-paced settings. Early successes included projects with industry leaders like T-Mobile, Mannesmann D2, and Deutsche Bank Private Banking.
At wallstreet:online AG (today Smartbroker Holding), I led German and later international investor relations and marketing, consistently securing funding, shaping strategies, and driving growth. This phase highlighted the critical role of seamless communication in long-term success.
In 2007, I moved to Switzerland and founded BS&C Business, _Strategy & Capital AG, focusing on corporate financing and capital raising, particularly for Canadian companies. During this time, I also served as a board member and shareholder of Plutos Venture AG, which was later sold with partners. I built a robust network within Switzerland’s private equity scene, which I value for its discretion and efficiency – operating quietly, independent of public market structures. In 2011, I successfully sold BS&C, paving the way for further innovative models.
My passion for markets, finance, geopolitics, crypto, and business models drives my work. I thrive on exploring ideas to anticipate market shifts. My motto is:
